It's really a toss-up to me since Villa Vera is just an oversized boxy building set incongruently into the hillside, and it looks like it belongs in Naples... Florida. There's nothing Zihuatanejesque about it at all. While on the other hand Intrawest, besides blocking our once-treasured view of La Ropa from El Mirador (and having a nerdy Anglo name), looks like a sardine can of time share units with a minimal effort of tropical style.
Shall we vote on the ugliest development fronting Zihuatanejo's bay? >;~)
And you are right on the money regarding infrastructure. We definitely should have a building moratorium until we get a grip on our infrastructure problems instead of continuing to allow many problems to worsen all at the same time so that we'll never be able to fix any of them. As Forrest put it: "stupid is as stupid does."
