I have posted many positive messages about Hertz over the past year. Sorry to say it but Hertz has joined the rental car company scammers. We had two cars reserved last week at the airport locat1on. When picking up the cars the rates had more than doubled over our confirmed reservation. We declined the rentals but Hertz billed our credit card company anyhow. Hertz billed the credit card $1310.00 US which was 5 times their already inflated rate. This al3rted the card company to freeze the account which resulted in us not being able to use the card at all. I think it was done out of spite as they were very unhappy
