Stunning silver from Taxco, Guerrero, the silver capital of the world, is for sale at many of the stalls in the Mercado. You'll find all types of jewelry and wares made with Mexico's finest silver. Be sure to check for the stamp which shows the quality of the silver. Most silver is .925 quality. If it doesn't have a stamp it's probably alpaca, a cheap silver look-alike. |
