Our 2nd trip to Zihua during Semana Santa(April 8-15) was every bit as wonderful as our first trip last Feb.

Day 1 - We arrived early evening on Sat. via Alaska Airlines. With little trouble went thru immigration, caught a taxi & arrived at La Ceiba Suites/Condos. Then we walked to El Centro & had dinner at Tomales "Any", hit a small market on the way back to our condo to get juice & coffee for the morning.

Day 2 - Walked over to La Madera, body surfing & playing in the ocean while having a great breakfast at MJ & Ritchies.
Then went to the Commercial Mexicana to stock up on "stuff" for the week. During the heat of the day, took our siestas at the 2 pools at La Ceiba. Later we went to El Centro for the Sun nite fiesta by the BBCourt. Had another great dinner at La Sirena Gorda.

Day 3 - Started out with breakfast at "home" today, then back to La Madera for more ocean fun. Stayed near homebase all day & Ben called Capt. Amado to set up our nitefishing trip for Thurs on the full moon (Thanks, David from Bellingham). Then we walked around the corner to Casa Vieja, had a great dinner & met a couple from Wisconsin- Hello to Bob & Amy!!

Day 4 - Walked the short block to Casa Cafe for breakfast. We loved this place...They have our Saeco capuccino machine, so we told them "Su casa es mi casa" since we felt like we were at our own house. What a great breakfast & really enjoyed how welcome everyone made us feel. Then on our way to the bus station we went to Lupita's Boutique to arrange dropping off some school supplies. Took the bus to Petatlan & wandered around by the church & plaza for awhile. It was very hot & we returned to Zihua early in the day. Later we hung out at the pools at La Ceiba & met Sheila, Sebastien & Diego (1st/2nd graders), who were also staying at La Ceiba.
They loved the barco verde that i got at Commercial Mexicana to float around the pool. We discovered a great local, place for dinner that nite:Taqueria el Carboncito. YUM!

I will post the rest of the trip in a few days with a link to webshot photos.
